a) To keep spirits high, two large international law firms have announced that they are now offering fertility benefits to their UK-based staff for the first time, including egg freezing and in vitro fertilisation (IVF), following a boom in these schemes in the United States.
b) In April 2016, women without partners in Sweden were given the same rights as couples to access state-funded fertility treatments including IVF. Since then, the success of the scheme has seen more than 1600 women use the program. As a result, the scheme is to be further expanded to accommodate demand.
We are excited to announce that Family GenerAid Foundation has been selected by Tesco as one of its three charitable causes in its stores throughout the London borough of Lambeth until March 31st. So, please support us by asking for a token at any Tesco checkout in Lambeth and placing it in the appropriate charity box. The more tokens we gain, the more funds we stand to raise!
Tesco donates the profits from the sale of its reusable Bag for Life to fund local projects across Britain. The money we raise will go towards helping people that need medical assistance to become parents via IVF, Surrogacy, Egg and Sperm donation.

Fundraising event: Valencia Marathon 21.Nov.2016
Dear Friends,
Freddie, Oscar, Luis and Ricardo are running a total of 168km in Valencia on Sunday 20th November (!) to raise money for the Family GenerAid Foundation, which strives to help those who have been unable to have children without medical support to achieve their dream of having a family.
These are early days for the Family GenerAid Foundation as it launched only one month ago and this is the first formal fundraising effort. However, we sadly cannot yet take advantage of the gift aid tax incentive.
The Foundation depends on the public’s support to achieve its goal of enabling as many people as possible start a family. We hope to make the world a better and happier place one family at a time!
We would really appreciate your donations and your continued support after the event. Anything you can give will certainly make a huge difference! We make a living from what we get but we make a life by what we give.
